Beverly Carter
Ministry Leader

How did the Lord change my life?

I started my Christian journey as a “PK” or “Preacher’s Kid” in Cincinnati, Ohio. My Father is the late Reverend Jesse Robinson and my mother is the late Pastor Barbara Robinson Tye. Although I grew up hearing much about the Lord Jesus Christ, I did not have a relationship with Him until much later in life. It was in 2002 when I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and began my work for the Lord.

What led me to become a ministry leader?

I moved to Maryland from Texas with my husband and we became members of Praise Center Full Gospel Church. After learning and growing in the Lord, I then became a licensed Minister of the Gospel in 2009. I operate in the office of Evangelist, serve as leader of the Evangelism ministry and formerly served as a Sunday School Teacher.

My most memorable ministry moments

Becoming co-founder of the Daughters of Zion – a women’s worship ministry based in Dallas, Texas – and co-hosting the annual Praise and Deliverance Conference of Cincinnati, a ministry in its 15th year and established by my mother. I have also authored a book “An Epistle of Healing” – my personal testimony of God’s healing power.

Something most people don't know about me

I was the middle child of seven kids (the reason I am a professional mediator today, I think) and they nicknamed me Cookie at one year old - and they still call me Cookie today. Mediation is my God given passion.
